Meuna Leuna
אלבום הביכורים של איתן ארדיטי
I worked on the album "Meuna Leuna" for about two years.
I composed, wrote and produced the album myself.
The album is a documentation into the human soul through its dreams. The idea for the album came when I found an abandoned old poetry book thrown in the street on a bench.
It was Yossi Sarid's first book of poems, published in 1961, "Meeting Elsewhere"
After reading all the songs in the book, I chose to compose the text "Hot Drawing" which paved the way for writing the entire album.
In addition to this song, I chose to compose two more songs.
The poems of Chana Senesh "If You Come" and Rachel the Poet "With My Own Hands". Alongside these, I wrote original texts that complemented the frame story of the album.
As I wrote each song and song on the album, I imagined the singers.
The opening and ending of the album create a uniform line that describes the small hours before our heroes finish their day, laying their heads on the pillow, moving between their dreams and their reality.
The album displayes by various characters who present their feelings about love, loneliness, creativity and coping with their souls
Participating in the album are: Yarona Caspi, Kfir Ben Laish, Mika Sadeh, Elran Dekel, Gadi Altman, Shiran Avraham and Uri Sadeh.
